Orders are processed Monday to Friday (ex-public holidays). Orders received on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day. Handling times for all orders are generally 2 hours from the time of order. Slight delays may occur during holiday, sale periods.
A dispatch confirmation email including a track and trace number will be sent once the order has been dispatched.
We are required to automatically charge and withhold the applicable GST for orders to be delivered to addresses within Australia. Each customer shall be solely responsible for all sales taxes, or other taxes, on orders shipped to any other state or country.
Orders over $99 are eligible for free shipping - excluding bikes.
Orders under $99.00 have a flat rate of $10.00 for standard shipping and $15 for an Express post shipping service. Both services are sent via Australia Post.
WHEEL / WHEELSET SHIPPING COSTS
Wheels are delivered by our courier service. Costs for Wheels shipping are $25
BIKE SHIPPING COSTS
Bikes are a bulky and are delivered by our courier service. Costs for bike shipping are as follows;
Adult Bikes $299
Kids Bikes $149
Please note, all bikes can be picked up free of charge from our Rozelle Store where we can also take you through and overview of the bike.
Your new bike will be delivered pre-assembled in a box: Whilst minimal assembly is required, basic mechanical skills and proper tools are essential. If your order includes additional items, they may arrive separately from the bike.
We strongly recommend taking your bike to a local bicycle mechanic for assembly. Any assembly cost is at your own expense.
DELIVERY OF GOODS
All goods are delivered from our retail store. Velofix will arrange a freight company to deliver to the purchaser’s address, unless the purchaser states otherwise or selects, when ordering the click and collect service from the Rozelle Store. Liability passes to the purchaser upon delivery of the goods to the designated address of the purchaser. Liability passes to the purchaser ex-store, if purchaser organises theor own freight.
Freight is payable at checkout, therefore freight costs are the responsibility of the purchaser, and are additional to the cost of goods sold.
If upon delivery cartons are damaged, we ask that you please mark the consignment note and notify Velofix immediately. Please note that bulky and fragile items require specialist carriers and may take longer to reach nominated destinations.
If delivery cannot be made or is delayed due to the nature of the premises, insufficient access, incorrect access details provided or no-one is home, the customer is liable for all addition freight costs and restocking fees.
We ship domestically using Australia Post.
Our online store is currently unable to ship internationally. If you have international shipping enquiry please contact our store directly with your enquiry.
Click & Collect is available from our Retail Store located at 736 Darling St, Rozelle, NSW, 2039. In stock Items ordered online can be collected within 2 hours. Once your goods are picked, packed and ready for collection, you will be notified via email or SMS.
A tracking number and carrier information will be sent to you in an email once your goods have been packed and dispatched from our retail store in NSW.
LOST OR DAMAGED IN TRANSIT
In the unlikely event that an item arrives damaged or faulty, we request that you notify our Velofix Store within 7 days of receipt of goods for a replacement (if available/suitable), credit or refund.
